In other words, there is no weather condition that is not an indication of ‘climate change’. The thing is, scientists know that the earth used to be a LOT warmer than it is now. But this was not a bad thing, in fact life thrived. The renaissance was due to a period of warmer temperatures, leading to our modern world.

And the “dark ages” were due to colder temps. We are having an impact, and it’s not good.

0.038% of the atmosphere causes such wild swings in the climate? That’s how much carbon dioxide there is in the atmosphere. There’s more argon at 1%.
Mars and Venus have 95% carbon dioxide, but their temperatures incredibly different. It’s not just distance from the Sun. Venus is the hottest, even though Mercury is closer. Venus’ atmosphere is 90 times as dense as Earth’s. Mars’ is 1/100 Earth’s. I think it’s the density of the atmosphere that’s the major cause of these differences of these planets’ temperatures.

Should I tell Mr. Stantis that “weather” and “climate” are two different things?
Naaahhhh….

So.wndrwrthg..just how did humans have an impact during the drak ages? Don’t believe that there were any cars and the population was way lower than today..

And if ships can now sail from Siberia to Canada, where there was never a crossing before? Climate Change.
And if hurricanes and typhoons are now much more prevalent and much more intense? Climate Change.
And if glaciers recede at 50 times the rate they did 50 years ago? Climate Change.
And if deserts extend into previously farmable areas in Africa, and drought drains every river and lake in the American Southwest? Shyeah, right, when are we going to start believing our eyes? When Rush says we can.

I have aquestion: “If Algore is so sure of his ‘global warming’ stance why won’t he debate qualified members of the opposing view?” After all he is supposed to be a fantastic debator?

Hey lefties; the earth is still coming out of the last ice age so naturally the planet is getting warmer. The question is; does human activity accelerate the climate change beyond its natural rate ? some say yes / some say no.

“The question is; does human activity accelerate the climate change beyond its natural rate ?
“some say yes” People like climate scientists.
“some say no.” People that don’t understand what they’re reading.

The climate change was primarily due to natural causes, possibly volcanic activity injecting massive amounts of fine particulates into the upper atmosphere.

Which one are you danielsangeo? Climatologist or clueless?

“Which one are you danielsangeo? Climatologist or clueless?”
I will not answer that question because it doesn’t address the subject and, instead, tries to make it about me. Do try to cut down on irrelevancies in the future, okay?
