It needs to speak up.

I’m hard of hearing, but if there is no traffic, I can hear the walk light dinging a block from my house!

I feel for the color blind folks who can’t tell red from green!

This makes me think of that scene from Rain Man.

Some of them do talk now.

Apparently a lot of motorists don’t see the lights.

Our street lights chirp like a bird. First time I heard it, I looked for the bird and forgot to walk.

Small for a traffic light, and no yellow? Guess some traffic lights then had only the two.
