In the 1980’s, all of my vacation “highlights” were the regional foods! (“Really? Not the Louvre or the Colosseum? PASTA PHOTOS?!?”)
I am been fortunate (and willing to pay the price) to live in really nice places. By not cramming my body into airplanes, not spending days in my car, and not paying tourist prices for everything from meals to popsicles I just about break even. :)
… and I’m at home recovering from the latest (◔_◔) seen today. Your point?
