The only basketball I care about just now is women’s collegiate ball. The NBA can call me if/when certain players (James Hardin, I’m thinking of you) get the thorough spanking, courtside, live on camera, that they deserve.
There are 3 sports which have never interested me at all and I never watch. This includes either sex and college or pro. I just can’t get into any of them. Basketball, soccer and hockey. Unfortunately, baseball is slowly creeping into that category as well. I actually prefer college to pro. There’s a difference in the dynamic of the game when it’s played for the sport instead of the money. And, yes, I’m aware college athletes will play for the sport, yet still try to impress the pros so they can jump on the money train, but excitement level of any game, regardless of the sport, between Tennessee and Alabama or Michigan and Ohio State or UCLA and USC or……(fill in your favorite) can’t be matched on the pro level. (IMHO).
