This is the second time this week. Iâve seen ânerfâ used as a verb, the other time as the answer to a crossword puzzle clue. Not being as âgamerâ, I wasnât aware of this usage until recently. As you can guess by context, it means âto reduce the effectiveness of (something, such as a character, attribute, or weapon) in a video gameâ.
