The old t-mometer was showing 17 degree outside. I believe it might finely be getting cold. Cloudy now, becoming partly cloud this afternoon. Today’s expected high is 28.
The new avatar is the flag of Scotland, the Cross of St. Andrew and tomorrow is St. Andrew’s Day.
Still some low hanging clouds but, I can at least see the other side of the valley and this is not a very big valley.
My day will be nothing to stand up and scream about, so, I wont.
Yesterday I watched with my wife “When Evil Lurks”, is an Argentine horror movie, it’s really really disturbing, besides that everything’s blue, just another day, another dollar.
It’s a bit cloudy today with an expected high of 60. It’s 51 at the moment. Yesterday got up to 61 and last night down to 44. I know that isn’t cold to you who live in the northern climes, but it’s a whole lot better than 100+, I promise.
Yesterday I finished up an 11-part series that went into depth about the production and legacy of Star Trek. It’s called “The Center Seat” and is on Amazon Prime Video if anyone is interested. It’s narrated by Gates McFadden (Dr. Crusher on “Next Generation”). I always knew that it was Lucille Ball at Desilu that greenlit the original series, but I never realized how much of a commitment she made to it, up to and including investing her own personal funds. She’s the only reason that series (and everything that followed) ever got on the air.
Today is a “down” day. Nothing in particular to do. It will be a good chance to break out some of the holiday decorations.
