Oh dear! Fred still has the smell of tgis fish in his nose! Now wonder he can’t sniff the ball! Tomorrow it will be better, beloved Freddy-boy hugs

That wasn’t very fair. A dog biscuit I can understand but some ball? Why even bother scenting that out?

Stuff this for a game of soldiers. In other words, balls to that…..

Fred when there is no scent trail to follow this becomes a hard find . Most dogs need a trail to follow ;-)

If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again. Then quit. No use being a dang fool about it.

Today the nose doesn’t know

I have a Black Lab “granddog” who loves to fetch. If sticks or balls are unavailable, she will bring you a rock to throw. She will retrieve that particular rock even if tossed into the gravel driveway.

Cute.

Sometimes the most intelligent thing to do is realize that what you are doing is pointless and stop doing it.

What was the problem …….. Fred ……… not enough slobber on the ball ….. probably ….. :)
