Most American beers taste terrible if not ice cold.
It’s designed to be served ice cold .
Other beers are designed to be served cool (50 to 59 F, 10 to 15 C), not warm, and has the best flavor in that temperature range.
I’m not familiar with any beer that is intended to be served warm (close to body temperature).
Here’s to Andy!! Miserichord’s got it nailed with the temperature issue. Having enjoyed some beers of the world from here in the U.S. to the U.K. and western Europe one has to be prepared for the local flavor. Have to say though , it’s hard to beat a “simple” 40oz glass mug of Licher bier under a tent with a polka band after a 5-7k “VOLKSMARCH” in Germany!! Happy Days and PROSIT!!
