I wonder which NFL team will hire Harbaugh as their head coach next year. The Chargers, Vegas, Carolina, Washington (Rivera is toast), the ATL (Arthur Smith is toast after that embarrassing Carolina loss), New England (Belicheat could end up with one of the other clubs mentioned) are all possible landing spots as well as a few others where the head coach could get canned depending on how the season finishes up like Chicago, Pittsburgh, Tennessee, Arizona, both New Jersey franchises and whichever current 7-7 team does not win the NFC South (Tampa/New Orleans, maybe both if the winner gets blasted by Dallas/Philly in the home wild card game and finishes 8-10 or 9-9 as many are already predicting).

And, perhaps, McCord would have been the Elf on the Sideline next year if he had stayed. He might have had a role different from Harbaugh. Maybe.
