I haven’t looked but, the weather website says 36 degrees but that’s taken at the airport in Coventry just out side Newport city. The forecast says mostly cloudy, high 41.
We had a nice little candle light service last night, a good follow up to the morning’s message.
We will have flank stake for Christmas dinner and the cook asked for little red potatos for roasting, we’ll have golden glow salad again and pumpkin pie. And like Grandpa Jones, "Yum, Yum.

We’re planning dinner here. I’m putting a pot roast into the slow cooker and enjoying my afternoon. We’re also having a hot artichoke dip appetizer, Caesar salad, fresh rolls from the local bakery and pumpkin pie. Oh yeah, and I bought a little cheesecake yesterday too.
The dip is supposed to be refrigerated overnight to allow flavors to blend, but I forgot that part. So I put it together this morning and will bake it later this afternoon/evening and hope for the best.
Mike will be over in a while to start the festivities. In the meantime, we’ve got Christmas music and I’m going to find one of those “fireplace” videos online for the TV. (Considering the size of our TV that’s going to make for one huge fireplace.)
We’re at 47 heading for 57 with nearly clear skies and sunshine. It’s a beautiful Christmas morning in Nevada.
