    Good morning Vagabonds

Around 36 degrees when I got up, cloudy. The forecast calls for fog and some rain, high 40.

Well, I’m watching “It’s a Wonderful Life” right now, it was recorded the other night and I don’t think I have ever seen it in it’s entirety, one the benefits of automatic recording.

Another slow day, I like it, get the mail go to Bob’s Quick Stop then back home. I love a lazy day.

Have a good day Vagabonds and may God bless.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

Yesterday morning I took my friend Cozy for her radiation treatment. She decided to stop the treatments early (she only had 3 to go). She stood up to her doctor and just said no. So they let her ring the bell and gave her a certificate of completion. I spent most of the rest of the day just sitting and schmoozing with her at her place. I did a few chores for her and we laughed a lot. She has a posse of good friends who have been coming every day to keep an eye on her and help her wherever needed. I’m proud to have been asked to be one of them.

No prayer group yesterday. It was Pastor Tim’s birthday and his kids had arranged for an all-day outing for him. I hope he had a really wonderful time, it sounded like he would.

Mike’s in California visiting with his kids and grandkids. He’ll be back some time tomorrow. In the meantime Michael and I are kitten-sitting. I went over there this morning expecting to spend some quality time with her and we did cuddle and play for about 5 minutes. After that, she made it abundantly clear that it was time for breakfast and my company was no longer required. (He usually feeds her before leaving for work at 5:30 AM. I didn’t get there until 8:30.) I’ll go over later today and just spend time with her.

Other than a quick trip to the market later this morning, I don’t have anything else planned for the day. As Mark said, a lazy day.

I got up to 40 degrees, it’s 47 now and the forecast is for 57. It’s cloudy, but not glowering so I doubt we’ll get rain.

    Everyone have a blessed day.

I heard from Arye this morning. He says he’s at the Bronx Concourse Rehab Center and has been there for more than a year. He says he can’t walk without either a wheelchair or a rollator. He prefers the rollator, but the nurses want him to use a wheelchair all the time. And, just being Arye he dyed his hair green last week. He says he’s trying to look like one of the characters in the book he wrote several years ago.

He’s lost his copy of his book “Promise of Bisibi” and sent me a copy digitally years ago. He asked me to send it back to him but a search on my computer says I don’t have it anymore. If any of you have a digital copy of that manuscript, he would really like to have it sent to him. If you do I’ll give you his email address.
