Coming soon, Staying up for the Early Ball drop
Will you stay up?
Don’t know yet.
I like Scottish New Year at 7:00pm.
Another year comes and Gos!!!
Two cities that have become less than safe. Too bad.
We went to Times Square in 2006, but were a little late and couldn’t get in. At midnight we watched the festivities from the Brooklyn Bridge.
I would not go to Time Square this year, something could very easily happen the way things have been going lately. I’ll watch it on TV, warm and cozy.
I’ll be going to bed at my usual time.
Bed by 7:30. The fireworks exploding will wake me for a few minutes around midnight.
True, true, NYC and Times Square get sadder every year.
Better bet, go to Bangkok or Sydney, anywhere in the Southern Hemisphere.
slowly reality is sinking in…kinda like the Titanic…
I just don’t get why people would crowd around a cold city to watch the ball drop
Fortunately I live in a very quiet neighborhood so I don’t have to worry about fireworks.
NY Times Square doesn’t allow alcohol. Kind of a drag. I’ve never been to NYE in Paris, but I can vouch for Munich. Very fun!!
Last Big Late New Year’s celebration was in Victoria BC for 2000. The others are just now another day/night…….
