I have been away a little while, I was too busy with work and playing Alan Wake 2, yesterday I finished, it was great, the weather is turning hot around here, we are rooting for the Holy Week festivities, have a nice one guys, love ya.
It’s a nice warm 15 degrees here this morning with light snow. The forecast is cloudy with snow showers and a high of 21.
Well, we no longer have to make monthly trips to South Burlington, Ida’s bone doctor was satisfied with her bone density yesterday and now she’s got a new pill to pop.
Got’ta get out there with the snow blower, again. The fluffy stuff is easier to throw then the wet stuff. To think, I use to like winter, what a difference a few decades make. (^.^)
Another day, another ugh, or, same old, same old.
Have a prime day Vagabonds, may God bless you always.
I got a call from Cozy this morning. She wanted me to stop at Sam’s Club to get some shrimp for her when I go over there again next Wednesday. Now get this: a friend told her that she should only buy shrimp from Argentina (only sold at Sam’s) because everywhere else they are harvested has “bad water”. Sometimes I wonder about that girl.
I do so enjoy the Wednesday evening services at Mike’s church. Last night the leader/teacher of the women’s bible study asked me to be an emergency back-up for when the regular teacher might be sick. I politely refused. Neither teaching nor the studying I would have to do in order to do it right is my gift or my forte. Next Monday they are starting up both men’s and women’s monthly study groups/dinner meeting. Separate, of course. (The men’s group is having stew and corn bread, the women’s chili. I offered to trade with Mike.) I’m looking forward to seeing what it’s all about.
Tonight’s the HOA meeting. We’re going to be reviewing the proposal and designs for our signage. We need new signs on the dumpster corral that aren’t so complex and we’re going to put building numbers on all 34 buildings, not to mention replacing street name and stop signs. I’ve been working with Mike and the sales guy at his sign company to get all of the information available for tonight’s meeting.
It’s another pretty day here. the only clouds are the con trails from the air force jets at Nellis. We’re already up to 56 on our way to 61. Nice!
