My favourite tree, perfect shape, truly a marvel of colour in the Fall, every one of my animals and friends have stood in its shade, pets are interred thru her roots, the kids (and I!) climbed as high as the eye could see, obviously been here far longer than me… fell yesterday. The snow claimed her so there is solace in that she went the way of Mama Nature.. but gee: really sends home “Nothing is forever” point .. I shall plant another in her place in the Spring.

Many of the trees in my yard are leaning trees. I just hope they don’t lean too far over and fall.
