Cartoonists are always making jokes about dogs drinking out of toilets. I’ve had dogs my whole life (going on 70) and not one ever drank out of the toilet.

In my dog history (smallish dogs), none could reach the bowl. The one cat tried once.

The grand dogs have all been bigger and all drank from the porcelain bowl.
