True, Disney was one of the world’s incredibly entertaining and profitable companies,But a change in management mixed with a shift towards a new pop culture “woke-ish” agenda permeated its way into scripts, films, and productions. Management’s failure to identify and deliver what their once dedicated mass audiences craved and supported reflected in its profits and popularity.
Barbie and Oppenheimer proved audiences still spend millions and millions at the Box Office, but won’t if topics, depictions and content aren’t up to their liking. I guess Honestly Land is preferred over Fantasy Land.
Bad Wolf claims independent creative control, but money talks. The mouse probably picked up some kind of rights to #8 at least when they acquired fox entertainment division. They can do an over-budget under-performer. Who knows?
Wow… I guess some of you need proof?“Wish” joins a long list of its Disney movie flops 2023 tentpoles, such as “The Marvels,” “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny,” “The Haunted Mansion,” and “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.”
I loved the 1st Indiana Jones … the latest, eh…Their treatment of Super hero’s ain’t that super…Look, Walt is probably turning in his grave at what has taken over his brilliant portfolio—- do you think his conservative view points, steeped in American family valuesWould accept what has transpired—- I think he would say to the young marketing teams at the Magic Kingdom—-“You’re Fired!”
Walt Disney was conservative, Anti union and anti communist. He hated unions after the teamsters forced their unions into Disneyland.Ronald Reagan’s campaign for CA Governor was Walt’s last campaign support before his passing.
yes, disney’s been producing flops one after another. IMDB informs that disney only has 31 of the 53 films to earn a billion at the box office. what a second rate company…

The creators of this comic are like petulant children attacking Disney one of the worlds great movie creator’s of all time.
All because the company had the nerve to speak out against Desantis and his bigotry and hate .

Obviously the right wing extremists will not be satisfied until Disney does an animated recreation of Birth of a Nation or Triumph of the Will
