Reminds me of when I was in high school and I hurried to get home before my mother did so she wouldn’t find the failure notice the school had sent. Once it was from my swimming instructor saying I didn’t try. I was so angry! I did try but I just wasn’t a good swimmer! At least I was able to intercept these notices and my mother never saw any of them.
