Fred, your friend knows that you never chase him, he looks not at all concerned. But- I wonder why he not even once glances at you! I could not resist to pet and cuddle you silky dog. And I have to admit that I like the little apron on this little guy.

By meat, does he mean sausages?

That has made me feel old I remember when we had delivery boys meat, bread and newspapers even the rag and bone man when if you gave him enough stuff you got a balloon or a gold fish !

Food delivery is back nowadays. And it’s great for retired people like me! Although I still go to Trader Joe’s, too. They still don’t deliver!

No delivery boys or men like that now. They’d be robbed instantly. Pizza delivery is almost as dangerous as being a cop.

I remember walking with my mother’s to the grocery/general store, and then the butcher’s, and getting everything delivered. Unfortunately, you can’t go behind the counter at the butcher’s any more to point out the side of meat you want your chops or steaks cut from.

Their dog’s food comes from the butcher?!?! Or came, at any rate. Wow!

I’m curious. In the “about” section of GoComics, it mentions that Fred is read on three continents. Will somebody name the three for me?
