Maybe his father traumatized him during his first and only ever driving lesson and he buried the trauma so deeply that it took over 40 years to figure out why he was never able to learn to drive, but it is silly/risky to ride a Segway in -15°
I predict, in North Dakota, possibly this winter, we will see someone with Yak Tracks on Pink Crocs and wearing either loose shorts or camouflage leggings. Likey worn by a 69-year-old man with a grey hoodie proudly sporting a two-year-old mustard stain. AND no one will give a second look… though many will attempt to dim or erase the mental image with a stiff beverage or two. ’cause, ya know, the icy wind down your neck and all. What you might call bracing.
I argue with myself like this ALL THE TIME. Some “ijit” will cut me off or honk at me, and right after I wish soggy fries upon them, my conscious will pipe up… “maybe they need to get to hospital for someone very critical.” I have a difficult time working up a good, quick angry.

To be fair, he’s speculating on the causes of the subject of your observation, not disputing it.

In a lot of instances, it best not to think out loud…you never know who’s listening! LOL☺️❤️

Don’t worry. He can’t be going far with a battery-powered vehicle in sub-zero temps.

Does he have chains on his Segway? I wouldn’t think it would do well in snow.

Like Devil’s Advocate, but contrarian is a wonderfully descriptive way of putting it!

We are up in the 20s today with a wind chill. The usual runners and bikers have not been out.
