Itā€™s bad for you if you have celiac disease (1% of the population) or gluten sensitivity (6%), otherwise it is harmless ā€¦ and gives bread its structure, which is why I use high-gluten bread flour for my ciabatta, focaccia, and rustic Italian breads. Strange that Alexa couldnā€™t answer that, since the information is just a Google away.

    Gluten gets a ā€œbad rapā€ because of that 1%.

Iā€™d like to ask for an all-gluten lunch right after someone asks for gluten-free, just to see the cashier react.

Like everything else involving health and nutrition, it depends. One of my closest friends has celiacs. Others have stopped eating gluten because they feel better without it. I eat regular bread but not that much because of the carbs and blood sugar spikes.

Give me gluten sugar, processed or nightshade and I have pain that feels like Iā€™ve broken or sprained something.

I try to tell other fibromyalgia sufferer but they assume Iā€™m body shaming them. ā—‘ļ¹ā—

Iā€™ve had to remove more and more food from my diet, for other reasons, over the past decade but I have so much less pain!
