One of the reasons I went vegan was that my mom was never a great cook when it came to any sort of meat. Beef, pork, poultry, fish all came out tough, dry, or otherwise awful, so I ended up disliking meat in general.
Went to a steakhouse yesterday. The least expensive steak was $24.99, the most was $31.99. I got a steak burger and fries for $16.95.
