My father set up a bird feeder in the yard so that he could watch the birds from the kitchen table window. Soon, a bear discovered it and knocked it over one night and emptied it. My father fixed it and put it up again only for the bear to do the same thing. So my father decided to put the bird feeder into the wood shed at night. The bear was quite persistent. It broke open the door to the wood shed and found it again. Needless to say, the bear won and my father eventually gave up on the bird feeder.
