I called it 26 this morning with that glorious sunshine, but the forecast says the clouds are coming along with light on and off rain. Spring?
Went out for Chinese food last night, a buffet in Derby town in the same plaza as the super market I shop at on Fridays. Not just Chinese but, Asian foods as well. They have a very good General Tso’s Chicken not as hot as some of it can be. I also had some Vietnamese Spring Rolls and a lot of other goodies. The nephew’s treat. (^.^)
Saturday is going to be about the usual run of the mill day with all the usual comings and goings.
Have an humdinger of a day Vagabonds and may God give you his grace.
We have some odd weather today. High winds (35 mph with gusts to 60 and above) and clouds that move so fast that it’s gloomy on minute and bright sunshine the next. We even had some light rain when there was no cloud overhead. It’s 66 at the moment, but feels much cooler than that out in the wind. The high is supposed to be 68. I have no doubt we’ll exceed it.
The knights won last night after a 5 round shootout. It was an exciting game. Much better than the last few and not only because they won. Another game tonight.
Mike & I went to bible study this morning. The women’s group always gets out before the men’s so I sit in the car waiting for him for 15 to 20 minutes. Today sitting there was like the turbulence in an aircraft. The wind was really shoving that car around on its springs. We did manage to finish up with James this morning and will go on to 1 Peter. The leader is planning to take us through both Peters and all 3 Johns.
As much sun as we had yesterday, we got that and more fog outside this morning with a temp of 33. The forecast is for, well, I’ve already said something about morning fog, overcast and a high of 50. Ain’t going to freeze.
Church is the main event for today followed by a chicken pie (chicken and biscuit) for our main meal, (yummy).
Have a good day Vagabonds and may the lord lay His hand on your shoulder.
Already done the church thing. We finished up Acts 21 and today was donut Sunday. We also were treated to a video created by the pastor we sent to Costa Rica a month ago. He’s starting up a new Calvary Chapel in that area where there is no church nearer than an hour’s drive away.
It’s still windy outside and we’re losing roof shingles. Several of the buildings are having this problem yesterday and today. I hope they get fixed before the next rain storm or the HOA is going to have a lot of indoor water damage to fix.
After almost a week with no access to a computer, I’m finally caught up on my bible reading for this year. I’m still working on the 3 devotional books. I should be caught up by tomorrow with those – reading 2 a day instead of one.
Other than the wind, it’s a pretty day outside. Expected high of 66 and we’re at 63 at the moment. I’m sure it feels cooler than that due to the wind. It’s pretty biting.
