Busy morning for me. I’m hard boiling the eggs to make deviled eggs for tomorrow’s women’s meeting. (I have to give my poor old microwave a couple of hours rest in between batches or it overheats.) I’m off to see Cozy at around 10:30. And somewhere in there I need to fit in my daily study of Esther.
Spending time with Cozy is always fun. Today she’s got a new toy, an inverter. You know, one of those frames where you hang upside down. I want to try it if she’ll let me.
Other than that, there’s another hockey game this evening. Tomorrow we head over to the arena for the “Star Wars Knight” game. It will be mid-afternoon and they are giving away toy light sabers and the concession food will be Star Wars themed. (Darth Taters, etc.) They are even putting up the special Star Wars jerseys that the team will wear for auction to raise money for charity. Oh, and they promise that our “favorite Star Wars characters” will be there. Somehow I doubt that they mean Mark Hammill, Harrison Ford, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew or James Earl Jones. (I would have included Carrie Fisher, David Prowse and Kenny Baker but they have all passed.)
Trivia question: Can you name the characters that all of these people played in the first Star Wars movie?
It’s a bright beautiful morning outside today. Our predicted high is 69. Yesterday we got just a bit above the forecast: 65.

Blue skies, looking at me, nothing but blue skies do I see. (^.^)
Boy oh boy, is the sun ever shinning. It was 26 degrees when I got up but it’s good looking day. the forecast says plenty-o-sun and 48 degrees.
My run for groceries will be nice under the sun. Got’ta get the list going.
