G. Gordon Liddy is now making a bundle advertising for one of the gold brokers. I have to say, he does a very dramatic pitch. I keep waiting for him to hold his hand over a candle, but so far, no luck.

You are not watching close enough grasshopper… He has dropped the “G” and is now merely “Gordon Liddy”. The universe shakes and the heavens show their wrath. It is somewhat sad when the fearsome foes of yesteryear dwindle so. I remember my shock when I first heard Led Zepplin as Muzak on the elevator.
Personally, I still remember with great fondness the moniker that Al Capp hung upon the 60s revolters, S.W.I.N.E. - “Students Wildly Indignant on Nearly Everything”.
ses1066, at my mother-in-law’s assisted living place, they now play The Monkees, Beach Boys, Drifters, and even Bill Haley and the Comets over the sound system. Strangely, no Elvis, though.
The RayGun revolution won. As died-in-the-wool capitalists, they sold the country to the highest bidder, who used your tax dollars through corporate welfare & your grandchildren’s tax dollars through deficit financing. Environmental degradation? The world is supposed to go to hεll, so Jesus can come.

A quarter-century later their mantra is “Don’t trust anyone under $30,000,000.”

Teabags and beer don’t sound like a pleasant combination.
