A long, long time ago my mom grabbed what she thought was a can of spray deodorant and spray painted her pits. She had been using clear lacquer on some creative project the previous day. ooops.
Most furniture polish is nothing but some sort of oil, or wax & solvent. Hairspray on the other hand, tends to be things like acrylic or polyurethane which, in quantity, will make your hair hard as a rock.
