They kept it to about three and a half hours last night.

I’m a cord cutter and last year I switched to a cheaper Live Tv streamer Sling TV. They unfortunately don’t carry ABC and I thought I’d be able to watch the Oscars on Hulu. Oh boy was I wrong even though they carried the Red Carpet. I hope Sadie is happy I didn’t get to watch it this year

I like the fashion show. Even if men’s is mostly boring & I’d look silly in that cute little dress. They drew attention to that award. I’d look silly in that outfit, too.

Great cartoon, stopped watching years and years ago when they got politicized.

I don’t think the Oscars have ever been about awarding the best movies. In 1934, I think, a romcom with Clark Gable and Claudette Colbert swept the Oscars. It won all of the five top categories. The movie was silly with a very predictable ending. … And so it’s been. La La Land was a movie I hated, I turned it off at the half-way point. If they would have awarded the best movie for this year, it probably would have been Past Lives. The movie is very well-written, well-directed, and well-acted.
