Psychosomatic hiccups are the worst. I once hiccuped for three days before a Physics final in college. The doctor gave me Valium but when I took one, the pictures on the wall went 3-D and I realized I could not study like that. The hiccups magically stopped some time in the middle of the exam. I no longer remember whether I did well or not – I just remember the hiccups.
