Poor Lulu!
Some people just can’t take a hint…
As my dad used to say: “Here’s your hat. What’s your hurry?”
It has been decades since I head that.
Well, he seems to be getting closer to Lulu instead of just sitting next to her at the bar.
The Bunny Slippers were a subtle clue, but she hid the TV remote and padlocked the Fridge before turning out the lights. ‘I think she’s trying to tell us something.’ ‘Maybe she’s not feeling well.’
When your host(ess) goes to bed, it’s time to go.
Jack got home late cos he probably fell asleep on the couch there. Or he couldn’t find anybody to give him a ride two blocks home…
My dad would say to my mom, “Let’s go to bed so these people can go home”.
She finally got directly to the point and told him it’s time to go home when he tried to join her.
