The Boondocks by Aaron McGruder for May 18, 2014
Transcript:
Jazmine: Well, I don't care what you say, Huey. You're stubborn. I try to keep an open mind about things. Huey: Now that is not a fair accusation...I believe in the quest for self-correction... When experience shows me something new, I re-evaluate my stance, for example - I used to be a firm believer in the economic philosophy of black nationalism. Jazmine: What's that? Huey: That's the belief that black people have a resposibility to support all black businesses, because that creates a strong black economic base, powerful black entrepreneurs, etc. Those powerful black business people would then act in the best interests of black america. Jazmine: You don't believe in that anymore? Huey: Let's just say B.E.T. shot a few holes in that theory.

I’ve always thought this was one of the funniest of McGruder’s anti-BET strips.

BET has gotten so bad over the years…it shouldn’t be apart of cable TV anymore neither should TVOne
