I feel bad for Betty, I don’t think she can keep the cat calendar store open for much longer.

I hope that’s Betty’s address or the year the store was built, because if 1985 calendars are what she’s pedaling her future looks dismal.

I think it says 1885, the year the house was built. It’s in an historic part of town (ruined by the Calendar Mart, in my opinion.)

I enjoyed your YouTube video, “Lesson Eight.” With cartoonists, just like radio personalities, one tries to imagine what they look like and for years I have this imaginary image fixed in my brain. Than reality presents itself and I find my image wasn’t even close.

ok Mr. Gammill, thanks to your intervention I will return to Betty. I always did like the way her store smelled. Like moth balls and paper.
