Fun fact: my mother tongue is Italian, but my father tongue is German! I didn’t grow up bilingual though, so I tried to make amends by studying German literature at university and by living in Germany. Did it work..? HMMMMM…
Wait until it gets to the Dansk setting, it will sound condescending.. ever read Scandinavian instructions? They read the way my Dane step mom talks. She’s so cute!
I’m impressed that she could actually switch the language setting in the narrative box, even if she can’t change it back. Not too many characters can actually mess up the narration boxes.

lo so a cosa state pensando = I know what you’re thinking
come si fa a cambiare le impostazioni a una voce? non ha senso = How do you change the settings on an item? it does not make sense!
beh ha sensi che dei personaggi interagi-scano con una voce narramte? = Well, does it make sense for characters to interact with a narrated voice?
geistiger tiefang ist nicht der zentrale kernpunkt dieses comics. = Intellectual depth is not the central focus of this comic.

If my father were alive, he could translate all that for me. Alas, he’s been dead for over half a century.

“HOW DO YOU CHANGE THE SETTINGS ON A VOICE? I DON’T KNOW!”*
“WELL, DOES IT MAKE SENSE FOR CHARACTERS TO INTERACT WITH A NARRATIVE VOICE?”*
“INTELLECTUAL DEPTH IS NOT THE CENTRAL FOCUS OF THIS COMIC.”**

Anybody got a paperclip? Time to reset this back to the factory settings. Of course if that factory is in China, Germany or Mexico….

Who’s narrating whom?

The narrator should know that who read comic usually use a strong suspension of disbelief to truly enjoy it.

Anyone else bothered by this stereotypical slur directed towards speakers of German?
