This is the last of the TV Talk comics for a while, thanks everyone for pitching in!
Mr. Ed and Flipper both had great theme songs but for me Flipper was a better show.
Definitely ‘Flipper’. Mr. Ed had no drama.
“What do you think, Father?” HA! Nice line, Tom!
Listen to your teachers. Mr. Ed was at least as smart as Flipper, and he was far more articulate and funnier.
margueritemPro says: Definitely ‘Flipper’. Mr. Ed had no drama. But Mr. Ed had Connie Hines.
Theme songs could be the theme for the next time Dean revisits tv shows gone by. (I always had a soft spot for the Get Smart theme.)
Tom, congratulations on your gold medal!

For me Flipper was more of a feel good, almost fantasy like show As for Mr. Ed, the idea of a talking horse was hilarious.
Mr. Ed. He Had more to say :]
I love dolphins! But Mr. Ed was a much better program!
Both shows were favorites of mine. As far as favorite theme songs, my favorite was Secret Agent Man, by Johnny Rivers.
…or Hawaii Five 0.
Cleo Or was that Secret Asian Man??? But I agree, it was a great song! I also liked the Simon & Simon theme song!
Mission Impossible and Bonanza had great theme songs too.
Gentle Ben kicked the butts of both the horse and the dolphin. Gentle Ben was the Chuck Norris of TV animals.
Mr Ed all the way! Flipper (aka Suzy) couldn’t talk.
Petticoat Junction theme song. Not to mention the girls bathing in the water tower!
We must be a bunch of baby boomers!! :-)
Burgandy 2 YOU NEVER SAW MR.ED!!?? Oh it was hilarious!
