Me (being a genius, see my name) wait till 10PM to close all the doors, make 2 critter carriers appear, and two food dishes and water dishes disappear. Stupid cats! Making my first pot at 0 dark hundred, I wonder where the stupid cats are. The greedy beggars should be rubbing my bare ankles searching for food from their all powerful master. Look in the living room and dining room, no stupid cats. While rearranging my living room furniture (some pieces still right side up) I see a white and a black arrow shoot down the hall. I hadn’t shut our bedroom door.Brilliantly deducing the problem, flashlight in hand and covered with dust bunnies, I find two furry felines in the exact center under the bed. On my firm command, they again shoot like lightning back to the pile of broken furniture in the living room. Stupid cats. Collaring one by the scruff of her neck and feeling cruel while doing it, I force her into a box that seemed much bigger the night before. The other stupid cat comes over to investigate. Told you he was stupid. After showering a second time this morning, I discover that my keys are somewhere in that jumble that used to be my living room. I bring the stupid cats to the vet who reminds me of Liz. “Oh what smart little kitties”

No, Montreal.

I’ve been to Toronto a few times on business and a few times to visit a friend.

Drove through it once to get to Niagara on the Lake.

I think yyyguy is from the Toronto area, but I’m not sure. My hubby’s staying in Brampton, and trying to find a restaurant that he’ll enjoy eating at. Which means, American, Mexican or Italian pretty much. They’ve taken him to Indian, Greek & Chinese - none of which he likes.

Grog - What do you plan to do with the rest of the week?

Luv - I’m glad for you. Ours is quite nice still - low 80’s! Although, I haven’t been outside to actually experience it. My oldest had a dental appointment today, so I had him take care of all my errands while he was out.

Yes, yyyguy is from Toronto. There should be plenty of good Italian restaraunts there. I wouldn’t know how to define American, unless it would be classified as a homestyle meal. There should be some Mexican retaraunts there, too, but I’m sure not as popular. They may also have some French restaraunts, too.

Chinese is ok, but I would prefer to go to one that might have a mixed bag of Asian cuisine - of course that food has a little more kick than Chinese!

I don’t eat Indian often, but I don’t mind it once in a blue moon.

Being from Montreal, I’ve tried just about everything imaginable, I guess.

Well, you could sit on your porch and enjoy a nice iced Mountain Dew?

American: Steak, hamburgers, roast beef, etc. I did find a Denny’s on the map for him. Not as good as Saltgrass, but at least he should be able to find something there he’d like. Neither he nor I are very adventurous in the food department. So it was interesting what we ate during the two weeks we were in Africa.

I know a good place to go for Roast Beef in Montreal (downtown) and a couple good steak houses as well.

A a couple Steerburger places that I think he may like.

I didn’t know they had Denny’s in Canada!

Luv - I try not to have caffeine (except for chocolate) in the evening, or I can’t sleep. The problem with going outside & just sitting is that the mosquitoes will try to eat me, and I’ll have to keep an eye out for wasps. It is really past my bedtime, so now that you’re here to play with Grog, I’m going to leave. Have fun!

Grog - I’m sure he’s not going to go to Montreal for dinner! I’m not even sure he wants to go into Toronto. Brampton, maybe Mississauga. There were a few American chains on the map that I recognized: McDonald’s, Subway, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut. But since he has easy access to those all the time, I didn’t figure he was interested. Rmom, I was certain of that. I’m just not that familiar with Toronto’s restaraunts, but If he ever goes to Montreal, I know a few places he could go to.

Even when I was in Toronto, I didn’t eat out much. I mostly had in home dinners with friends, though there was an Italian restaraunt in the Ajax area I liked, I can’t remember the name. Even so, Ajax is on the east side, while Brampton/Mississauga are west of Toronto. I don’t think he’d even want to drive that far.

Luv - My mom liked Avon products. My husband hates them. I think I’ve tried Skin So Soft and still got bit, but it has been years ago. I’ve got insect repellant around here that works, but then I have to wash it off. It probably would be a good night to sit out and look at the stars, but I think I’d rather get to bed and go to sleep. At least the pain isn’t so bad that I can’t sleep. It just drains the energy out of me. The good news is that we’re finally done with Algebra!!!!! He’s still working on his Accounting, so I’m not totally done teaching him, but that’s a little easier on my brain cells.

Grog - I’m sure he wouldn’t want to drive that far, either. Last time he drove in through the Niagara Falls area, but had such trouble getting into Canada, that they told him he needed to fly directly into Toronto. Oh well, he flies back Friday morning, so he’s only got one more evening there.
