Johanan: My favorite Tumbleweeds strip (probably 30 years ago) had the undertaker posting a sign saying”Paulbearers Wanted”. When the main protagonist of the strip (I forget his name) pointed out the misspelling, the undertaker replied that he’d gotten the spelling from the top authority. “Who?”…..”Paul” of course.

One of the many Tumbleweeds strips I remember was a set during the introduction of Screaming Flea as a character. Chief Sagamore wanted Bucolic Buffalo to take out S.F. but was overcome by the latter’s “roccoco proneness” (illustrated by very ornate word balloons which eventually stopped being used). B.B. and S.F. were the best of friends ever afterwards, to the great consternation of the Chief.

Forgot to say: I’m on my way out the door, for one of several supply runs today. I dread the later ones, when it’s much hotter. The sun’s not fully risen yet and it’s already 82 degrees.

I’ll be heading out on errands soon myself. Since I don’t drink the stuff, there’s no coffee on the the list - but there will be Pepsi. Lots of Pepsi.

For a change I went to bed at 8:30pm was watching TV hard time staying up, showered, pills inbetween then bed. A good reason, couldn’t get with my own Dr. went to Immedicate care not feeling to good, now I’m draggin. Immediate care takes over an hour. Virus and bacteria had before long time ago. Sinus. Have Z-pack coming out of it. Twice a year sinus hits bad and that is Sept and spring.

I don’t know about you, Kab Buch, but I wouldn’t want to get hit by that thing.

On the other hand, that thing would undoubtedly splinter into shards if it got hit by this thing.

Back from the supply run. Barring the unforeseen, there should be but one other, about 7 PM. Still gunna be hot, but at least it’ll be the only one.

Curiouisty makes me ask, can say about locally, How big of a demand is for someone, since I don’t live near you, takes Medical Encoding and Billing where your at? Here locally I’ve looked don’t know about Medical office’s but I don’t see too much of. And HR is mostly when I see Dr.’s hiring younger ones not my age. KAB We have a 120 bed hospital (approx) I learned that 8 encoders work from home. Billing is done through the business office and is something different. Others are in the Medical Records dept. and do transcribing of some kind. The hospital here is looking at creative ways to staff and meet employees needs. The supervisor I talked to said there is a demand for encoders through the internet. Talk to someone close to your area, I would suggest. I hope you have success.

Since you asked, I am an RN with specialty in neonatal care. I worked labor and delivery at the hospital. Retired.

@WoodEye: I’m pretty sure those faces are all in your head. :) Basil Wolverton did a lot of crazy stuff in his art, but hiding faces wasn’t one of them. He put his faces out right where everyone could see them - and laugh themselves silly over them.

@Lewreader: Ice cream first, then root beer… very, very carefully, and stage by stage if you have to.

Yes, Ice cream first, and then the root beer slowly, and waiting for the foam to subside. It may help to stir it with a finger–the salt and such from the finger tip helps break up the bubbles much more quickly.

If that takes too long, eat the ice cream, and then pour the root beer.

Why use eggs don’t you want to make it big with balloon? Eggs are used for throwing. Surpise your eggs didn’t get recalled.

The balloon will make a big egg sized pinata. We can decorate it like an Easter Egg and fill it with the raw eggs. It should be just about perfect when Easter comes.

Well, the balloon is ready for us to cut a hole in it and fill it with eggs. Thank gosh for quick dry glue. Ummm….. I’m not allowed to use knives. Would you mind cutting the hole?

We should make faces on the eggs before we put them in. Then when the pinata breaks people can see all these grinning eggs flying around.

How you get the balloon ready so fast you said glue? I thought we used glop the string. But yes cutting round hole. How big do we want it? The hole.
