Hey Luca I think you hit on a sore spot with a lot of your fans. This is a good arc and you probably should let it ride for awhile. As I said before, there are good and evil landlords as well as good and evil tenants, A smart landlord gets good references, credit checks or referrals from trusted friends and you’ve got to have the tenants put some skin in the game so they’ll think twice before trashing the rental or skipping out without paying.
It’s never been easy, but with today’s outrageous housing cost and student debt, even sharing expenses with a number of roommates and having a few side gigs on top of a day job will barely cut it. I see a whole lot of budget reprioritizing and soul searching in their future!
Oh the woes of skyrocketing housing prices, comparatively stagnant wages, and landlords who are all about the bottom line. Oh, unforeseen events mean you have to conduct repairs? Well, I guess it’s a good thing I’ve given you half my salary every month over the past 3 years. Hopefully you can find some pocket change there to help out..!!?);:!!!)7$&$); (not bitter at all…)

What? Throw everything away and be homeless? Better think it over.

But if you move out to a different life, then what would Luca do? You need to demand a raise.

How I obtained a house mate. Her rent got higher than my mortgage.

I’m sorry, Andy. But there’s no escape. Unless you inherit a house…
