Hello and goodmorning all. I’ve been up since before 7am.

I was going to send a picture to everyone a cousin who lives in Alaska of all that snow they have and continue to have I think over 2’ of snow from a major storm going through. The picture is outside on a parking lot from a location they live at. I could not paste that picture.

If BT stays quiet I’m going to work on a hard chapter about mutual funds. Not sure I understand this section. Then the last chapter is on retirement. A test for two and on retirement not sure if test on that but a quiz. Then the major test on the whole book. I then get please reading. Yea!!!!

I got some sleep myself. More then that Big Sister. Since being off those pain pills now for several months, I can sleep better. Neighbors had a party I did not hear as we keep our window in bedroom closed. Heard the party goes noisy leave.

Big Sister when my mom says something close to that I just say how day goes is up to her.

Me? Snow?¿? Noooooo. We have very mild weather here. It is very gray and boring and green. No weather extremes, no falling buildings, asteroids or hail. Just rain.

We had some rain. And when too much at a time certain areas will flood. How did you do that ? upside down?

I wonder though wrong state for Doctor Toon there is a bi-level house former homeowner’s use to live in and gave back to bank. 4 bd 3 bathroom for $63,000. There is a catch.

A little later today I have a little shopping to do. Not much. Hubby and son went to my mom’s house to do more work. My mom due to insurance letter showing needs done needs work done. Drive way is complete on cemet drying and looks so much better. Anyway I have to get something for a brunch for church. Pastor appreciation day. We have three.

It just is a key option on Fiend. I don’t know how to do it on the computer. I have trouble sleeping with the window closed, but maybe I will get used to it this year since my tom won’t be too hot in the winter at night. I like lots of blankets and cold air.

Do you use electric blankets those produce heat and are comfortable? When those go wrong just trash them.

At night we keep the heat down. So far better for us to dress in layers have not turned the heat on.

Oh some peoples do not like electric blankets. They like you put extra blankets on.

Do you know anything about mutual funds? Big Sister.

This is the first year in a while where I will get to pick the temperature, and Gma’s was all on one thermostat with my room always being the hottest. Very irritating.

Nothing whatsoever. That stuff is scary and always changing.

The Pastor’s are senior Pastor, youth Pastor and children’s Pastor. They have one who works with older folks but not a Pastor. I do not go to a Catholic church either. Attended a cousin’s funeral there once. That was strange.

I have an Uncle who was a Vitnam Vet who is always cold blooded worse then my mom. His house in summer is 100°. His poor wife of 63 years always has to suffer.

Especially with the stock market always changing. This phoey lap top I type the right way and changes on me.

Not sure if I spoke too soon about my new pt data entry job. The boss had me wait a week. He wants to analzye not sure why. Court listings keep moving. And I worked hard.

Well, good luck with the part time job. I don’t have a regular pastor and any service is strange to me.

Though Catholic services are kind of like doing a slow version of the ‘Grand Old Duke Of York’. (giggles)

I agree with some. There are some services that can be strange. I do not like where my sister goes.

It is a song that involves a lot of standing, sitting and doing something halfway in between.

That Catholic service was very odd to me.We went to aMenottie funeral first time for me. My Brother-in-law’s dad passed away, they were expecting this due to health issues. And this is the first one haddecaffeinatedd coffee or tea. I was surprised. They do different. This place we had to drive one hour away from ICT.

At that Catholic funeral of my cousin. We did a lot of sitting. They played chimes and songs where repeated like a chant. We did not sing as we knew none of the music.

Well each Church is slightly (or more) different, even within the same religion. I was disappointed that when they planned my Gma’s service they didn’t make the lyrics available for those who didn’t know the songs.

My brother’s wedding was getting too intense, so one of the groomsmen passed out. It was like a tree tipping over, ask the sudden there was a loud crash.

Did the church have hymn books? This service at a Mennonite church first time we ever sang at a funeral, we used hymn books. A cousin of the dad who died cousin played. At the grave site we were given copy’s of the hymn’s used. And I have sang-ed Amazing Grace so much I don’t care for that tune. Sister and I did that song at a Methodist church service ages ago, and I got burnt out.

He must be a big man for that to happen. Too much body heat.

We could all breath again, what a relief!

I remember from HS decades ago. The choir went to a local carehome, wearing choir clothes and student’s started passing out.

So strange I have to talk to my mom as she says she always eats and looses weight. Me just the opposite I have to be so careful as I will gain weight. Just not fair.

The books weren’t out. That surprised me, maybe the regular attendees know all the songs? It is a smaller, old church. Actually, I think we have had family going there since it opened a little over a hundred years ago.

I should say sometimes I look on your fb account but usually do not reply. I feel at times you have private talks with family.

Yup, I am moving again. I am moving less than a mile and a half away. The rent will be less and it will be quieter. Monkey likes it better here. Oh well… Hopefully, she will change her mind.

Usually, on facebook I just check in. Sometimes a couple times a day, sometimes once or twice a week. There is some family, a few friends of my kids and a few friends. You are welcome to post on any of my statuses. It makes me not feel ignored ;)

I do not hear from to many. I posted one message and was totally ignored. I have some cousin’s on my fb.I was agreeing about noise in surrounding areas. We do not rent. Use to rent land for a mobile home when children were small. Took a loss but got out of that. Our location now I do not really like. Daughter is self-ish she wants her car protected in garage from hail that could come in and she won’t let her grey hair old mom put my car in. I would rather be further north away from hwy with more space between neighbor’s. Some of these neighbor’s are not that friendly here.

I have not been to see The Sojourner since he is at an Assisted Living place. I know where the place is. Sister and I looked there before we had our mom at Speedy Recover and did not like the place. I hope he does well there on recovery.

Oh we have gotten in arguments over this. She does not want to go that route she would say I get a car cover. We need a carport. My son’s car is on the driveway since someone broke a window to steal a sterio/DVD player out. Then did the same in our driveway close to the house without breaking a window out. Must have used a pop-a-lock.

Hey Plods where did you go. Come back and join in. I’m not trying to hog the comments here. We went yesterday at Appliebee’s they honored the vets there. Heard some amazing stories of what they went through.

Sorry Plods, I don’t have any Vets left to hug. I did find two of my dad’s old army jackets I used to wear as a teen. I am giving one to Monkey 1 to wear. If I hug her can that count?

Either won’t get done. For me if I took a nap I could not sleep at night. No matter how much sleep I might loose at nigh. Since done with those pain meds I have gotten back to regular sleep. If you need to go be fine. I will need to do some shopping not much myself.

My oldest nephew is turning 11 in January, the next two nephews are 7 and my two nieces are 4. My brothers did a good job reproducing around the same time.

Your right on that. Wish hubby and I had that many. Hubby would disagree with me. Way too late for us. As you know our oldest is now 29 youngest is 26. Not going back. Sister and hubby could not have children. Pets are their children. Dog for them is 17 now and blind with cataracts.

Monkey1 will be 21 in December, about a week before giving birth to my first grandchild. Yes, she is planning on getting dressed up and going to a bar to order a juice. Monkey2 turns 18 about the same time.

Big Sister we may have to chat later. You need to get busy. I need to get to store then work more on class work. Taking Thanksgiving time for no class work. And finished in Dec. When everything is near complete. Only two chapters left on assignment. I have already signed up for two classes in spring. Better working at home then driving to class. Memory is not that great to absorb all those definitions, in other words if in class I would fail.

And very independ. Is Monkey 1 married?

Our son is 29 not working a paying job. At his grandma’s house helping. Daughter 26 took classes at a college not certified for personal training. Our bi-level one part is devoted to exercise equipment.

Our two both born same month. First part of October and just days before Halloween.

No, she isn’t and as far as I know they aren’t planning on getting married.Monkey 2 (Dec 29) was actually due on Monkey 1’s (Dec 22) birthday.

Good evening all. I left BT to work on on-line class. Having a little trouble understanding Mutual Funds so went on-line utube for lectures. Have more to learn about. Thank goodness one more chapter and Personal Fiance will soon be done except with the final test. Dread that part.

You’ve got that right. Watched a lot of utube video’s based on parts of mutual funds. On discussion I could talk better about the question.

I worked with mutual funds listening to lectures on video to help understand the subject. So glad class is nearing the end. I have some more pleasures/serious reading to be done.I understand you’ve been working hard.Surprised your not watching Fooball as Big Sister calls the game.

No, I haven’t been here much of late today. I’m at a busy time of year, both at home and at work. I really don’t have time to play doorman/Walmart greeter. I do my posting at 4:30 AM before I get ready for work so that I can focus on work when I get there. Since bigg doesn’t want to give anyone else a chance to post the breakfast menu, I’m not going to waste my morning posting time here when I can make a post on one of the strips I actually like. I will occasionally check in on Citizen Dog at night because there are often comments/questions directed at me – particularly on the week-ends. Of late, this strip has been dedder than a door nail, especially at night when I might have the time to post. And with so many of my favorite long standing tribe members in either similar conditions to myself or like Sojo incapable of checking in on a daily basis, checking in just hasn’t been a necessity to me.

Maybe I better not post so much. I have noticed not as many have left messages here on BT.

Hi, ♥Kab♥. Actually it’s nice that someone else is picking up the slack. The ones who used to have time to kill, like Doctor Toon, Mrs. Ladywolf, ♠Lonewolf♠, Sojo and even Luv Me have not been posting as much due to their own personal situations.

It’s actually nice to know there is someone else here besides me for a change. This place used to busier at night than it was during the day.

I think sleep is for the wimpy! Ummmm….. Though maybe if I don’t fall asleep by 11 pm, I will take something. “They” don’t like it when you don’t sleep.

I can be awfully grumpy at 4AM if I don’t get some sleep between 9PM and 4.

Packing is no fun…. If you stay on task. My neighbor listens to Elvis really loud. Hmmm…..it’s been a while since I listened to Def Leopard. I bet Kitty would like that.

I can be awfully grumpy at 8am, if I fell asleep at 7:45am and had to get out of bed at 8 am.

I don’t like Def Leopard. Led Zep or some Queen from the early 70’s. Also like Joe Walsh for some closer to mainstream rock.

It should be okay, my brother is helping me move. On Wednesday, I will have a panic attack. Then I will do nothing but clean and pack until he is gone on Sunday.

I got a coupon from my energy provider for a free Kroger ham up to 9 lbs. I didn’t realize it was free until I got it to the cas. So I got myself about 8 lbs of free ham – a savings of $21!!!
