Well, instead of having the meat cut into steaks, my grandmother had it ground into hamburger meat. Mom was horrified.
Mom: “Why did you do that?!”
Nanny: “Because you girls won’t eat steaks.”
Mom: “Yes, we will!”
Mom said it was the best hamburger she’s ever had.
