Has anyone else noticed that Dogs of C-Kennel is missing? It is supposed to come up on my list of comics but it hasn’t been there for a couple of days. However I am getting multiples of Doonsbury and Pooch Cafe.
Anyone know why Dogs of Kennel-C is missing, or is it just my problem? My own personal glitch as it were.
Love the “sorting the garage, closets, cupboards, whatever you have that needs cleaning out theme. It is so in tune with what I am doing right now.
Greetings and a happy day to Stelbel, Lonewolf, Cleokaya, Grog, Dry, Comicgos, Sugie, Coyote, Odeliasimone, Kreole, VZS1022, and all the CD friends out there.
I haven’t seen supersurfer around lately. Did I just miss him or what?
Throw it all out, Mel. It’ll cut your cleaning time down considerably. Besides, aren’t you a little old for paddle ball,
Good morning, cleo, sugar & Fellow Baby!
Puppybreath, I know for sure that Dogs of C-Kennel did not update here yesterday. I haven’t been to the page yet today. You may want to check out Johnny Hart Studios
The Dogs of C-Kennel is no longer listed on the A-Z listining, puppybreath. It looks like we’ll have to get our daily fix from the Hart site I just provided.
No more Dogs of C_Kennel? Why? That is a GREAT strip! It would be nice if they would people know these things ahead of time! And yet that stupid “Back in the Day” and “Biographic” are still here!
puppybreath you can find “Dogs at creators.com also. And the Barn is there in color, not black and white.
Fellow Baby, Yes I stopped reading also, If I comment at B.C. I’ll “pop over” there to see if it’s any good again, but it’s not. I can’t believe Dogs of C Kennel was dropped. I wonder why? Makes no sense, it had a lot of readers. I wonder if something else was going on there behind the scenes.
When you start looking through the “old” stuff you start reliving memories. That’s when it gets to be a long process. If you’re like me half of the stuff never gets thrown out.
Good Morning * Grog, Dry, Cleo(where ever you are ), Lonewolf & all my fellow CDers.*
On my home page, Dogs of C Kennel is on the list that tells me which ones haven’t updated for the day. Daddy’s Home didn’t update either, but Sundays strip is still in my line-up, Dogs isn’t.
My house is still torn apart and I wonder if I’ll ever get it put back together, but at least Salvation Army, Goodwill, and Big Brothers/Big Sisters are getting tons of good “stuff”!
Good Afternoon, Puppybreath, Lonewolf, Grog, Dry, Sugie, cleokaya, comicgos, Plod, nighthawks, vzs1022, starlilies and CDers everywhere!
Fellow Baby Suppot Your Local Gunfighter, Support Your Local Sheriff, and The Great Escape, are my FAVORITE, FAVORITE MOVIES that James Garner starred in! I can watch them over and over!
Is Chuck Conners still alive, Fellow Baby? I guess I could google to find out. Do you remember “The Rifleman”? Maybe not, since you grew up in Canada, and he had another good short lived tv show called “Branded”, set in the West either during or shortly after the Civil War. I can’t remember which anymore, but I loved those shows.
Geez Fellow Baby, you haven’t had much of a vacation have you? When you get to feeling better, we will take a trip to Australia and I SURE HOPE YOU FEEL WELL ENOUGH TO GO TO LAGRANGE!
I think, if I were ever to go to Australia, it would be during their summer. I’d time it for just after the Superbowl around mid-Februrary.
If it weren’t such a long flight, I’d love to go. I hate flying and it’s just too long a flight. I doubt very much there is a Cruise ship that goes there. If there was, I’d have to wait until I had a lot of time on my hands - like my retirement years. It would cost plenty of lettuce though.
Yes clams would be more appropriate, Fellow Baby! LOL!
My cousin and her hubby went there, and yes, it takes awhile, and if you are prone to it, you get jet lag big time! I would love to see Australia, and New Zealand as well. I guess we should put those on our “Bucket Lists”, huh?
Well the appointments were planned, and I couldn’t or wouldn’t have done them if I weren’t on vacation. What bugs me is my back has prevented me from doing some household chores that I had planned on doing - particularly on Monday while wiating for my a/c guy. I had a brand new pressure washer I was all ready to try out.
Well at least the weather’s been good and in spite of my schedule I’ve managed to get plenty of sun thus far and hope to get more before the vacation’s over.
I’m glad the weather has been nice for you, and you know, just enjoy your days off, the chores will still be there, and can get done later. The important thing is to relax and enjoy.
I used to do a lot of Montreal/Edmonton flights and I found them to be grueling 5 hour flights and that was before 9/11. Post 9/11 there was Edmonton/Amarillo and Edmonton/Dallas and shortly thereafter, Dallas/Montreal (Fortunately that one was direct). Buy that time I got to hate flying. I was doing a lot of Dallas/Amarillo too, which in itself wasn’t too bad if it wasn’t for having to make a 1 hour flight into about 2 & 1/2 because of security measures. Of course it was even worse for the longer flights, particularly international. I also did one Dallas/Spartanburg flight a few years back. I’m glad it was only once.
While living in Motreal I also did a lot of 1 hour flights and at time even flights to New York or Boston were no biggie, especially since it was pre-9/11.
I had forgotten Newark, because the corporate headquarters eventually moved from New York and danced from one small New Jersey town to another within driving distance of the Newark airport. That was boring. At least after the day was done in New York, there were plenty of interesting or fun places to go within walking distance. There was nothing fun in New Jersey within driving distance and dinner was about 45 minute away from where I/we were staying.

Does GC do this stuff just to tick us off? How long was Dogs up? 6 months? Thanks Grog.

Your guess is as good as mine, Fellow Baby. Maybe it was on a 6 month trial run.

So they are in the garage. Makes more sense now. I always got side tracked when cleaning any place where stuff has been for a while. Too much fun.
Sad about Daddy’s Home and Dogs of C Kennel, too. Good to know I can find them elsewhere, though.

The Rockford Files is on TV right now. :-) I’m certainly getting my fill of James Garner tonight.
Give it to me straight, Doctor, I can take it!
GROG Premium Member over 13 years ago
I never saw it, but my Dad used to rave about it all the time. So it was on Canadian television.
I’m not sure if Connors is still alive or not.
I may be wrong (maybe I missed it), but Connors did not receive screen credit for Gunfighter.
Dry and Dusty Premium Member over 13 years ago
Fellow Baby, you’re not wrong, Chuck did not receive screen credit. I think that may have been one of his first big roles.
Hey Fellow Baby, ARE YOU STILL ON YOUR WAY TO AUSTRALIA? :-D*
GROG Premium Member over 13 years ago
AUSTRALIA? Now where did you hear that?
I’ve had nothing but errands/appointments for the past 2 days and I’ve got 2 more appointments tomorrow morning.
I also threw my back out, so I may not be going anywhere toward the end of the week either - not even LaGrange.

Yes 9/11 sure changed a lot of things in travel by air, unfortunately, and some of the things they do are absurd.
