Hi, everyone. Had trouble getting here, but finally figured it out, at least for today! I have sad news: my Quincy Jack passed away yesterday. He went “downhill” over the previous 2 days, and we had to make that horrible decision that anyone who loves their animal/family member is loathe to make. It turns out he had an abdominal tumor that we were unaware of, and that, thankfully he didn’t suffer too long with. His last day was spent in his bed that I put out in the yard so that he could enjoy the sunny, warm weather and the birds singing, then the last ride with the window open all the way. He was the last of his family (we lost his 2 sisters and 1 brother in the last 2 yrs. and his mom in 2007) and although he was 13, he didn’t look or act a day over 8!This is the first time in over 25 yrs. that the house doesn’t have at least one dog in it, and it’s breaking our hearts…I remember how caring you all were when he was sick a couple months ago, so I just wanted to let you know that although he’s no longer with my husband and me, he has joined up with his mom, Lulu and brother, Andrew Ransom and sisters Josephine and Stella Mae (StelBel!). By the way, Stella and Quincy were twins, so Quince looked exactly like the avatar photo on the left. Thanks to all of you for all the best wishes, support and prayers you sent our way a couple months ago. I do believe that all that positive energy gave us a little more time with him that we might not have had. Thank you.
