There used to be a burger shack in my town called Burger Me! Occasionally they would have a special that replaced the bun with a Krispee Kreme donut! Never tried it and never had the urge to either!Good Morning Grog, Dry, sugie and all the other friends of Fergus!
Oh my, ***StelBel*** I just learned that you lost Quincy Jack during the time I was locked out and couldn’t read any posts.
Oh, my friend, although it is several days ago, somewhere around May 13th if I read the comments correctly, that you lost your dear friend, I know you still miss him more than words can say.
My heart goes out to you! I have experienced the same feelings too many times in my life when time or circumstance robbed me of the companionship of one of my dear fuzzy, four footed “kids”.
How I loved them! I know you loved Quincy Jack and Lulu, Josephine, Stella Mae and Andrew Ransom. I know they brought joy to your home and love to your heart. I know you miss them more than words could ever say.
By the way, I too had an “Andrew”. I lost him a year ago and I still miss him.
Bless you StelBel. It is obvious that you have a good and loving, a very kind heart. I am glad to know you even if it is only in this written forum.
I am also happy for Quincy Jack because he certainly knew he was loved and cherished. The same is true of all your other four footed family members.
Dear Puppybreath…I am so glad that you’ve made it back to us. We missed you! Thank you so much for your kind words and support. It’s still so hard to believe. I was just looking at photos of the last time I gave him a haircut (4 days before he passed away), and everything was totally normal — no indication that anything was wrong with him. So, at least he didn’t suffer too long, but I will always miss him like I will always miss all my 4-legged family that have passed on. And I believe Quincy Jack is now with all of them, having a grand old time!…sniff. On a lighter note, thought you might like to know that we’ve continued our tradition of immediately adopting a dog in dire need of a home. We picked him up yesterday after his long trip up to New England from tornado-ravaged Tennessee; a 1-yr.-old schnauzer/terrier mix male that is as cute as a button named Maxwell Milton (the “Milton” after my dad). I’m still sad, but this little guy is a clown that warms our hearts. I’m happy that we can give him a good home with an abundance of love.Thank you again, dear friend. As always, StelBel.
StelBel How good of you to adopt a poor little lost dog from the tornados! Now Missouri has been hit pretty badly I understand. I’ve got LOTS of dog and cat stories, but I won’t bore you! I will say that my one son and I went to look at some rescue cats, I wanted one, he wanted the other. We finally ended up bringing them both home. I still need to get a dog/s I miss having one!
StelBel, I was gone for 5 days, including the period when Quincy Jack passed and just found out of your loss from puppybreath’s comment. I too am very sorry. I often wish that dogs could have a possible life span like humans, because time goes by so fast. I am happy you have found a new companion which I am sure eases the sadness because of the new energy in the house. My thoughts are with you.
