I haven’t had TV for years, so my news comes from the newspaper and I can pick and choose which news I care to ingest. Happy dog stories would always get my attention.Good morning to all the CD happy dog people.

My dog certainly rules the house. She had to have a wart removed from her right front paw on Monday so is currently enduring the cone of shame. She doesn’t mind eating with it on, but I have to take it off for her to go potty. With it on, she can’t find the right patch of grass to water. When she bends down to check it out, she gets stuck.

Hello, Hello, Hello! I’ts just me, I’m still here. I didn’t fall off the ends of the earth this time when we took a trip. OK, so it was just to the dentist but it was an 85 mile one way trip.

We were really tired by the time all the dental work was finished on my brother, and he didn’t feel like driving all the way home, or habving me drive either, so we got a motel 6 overnight.

Ralph and Agnes were confused by the motel and the motel noises. They wanted to protect and defend but after a short while and some reassurances that everything was OK, they settled in for a long nap and then dinner, and then back to bed for the night. Behaved really good and I was proud of them.

It’s good to go but better to come home. I love it here!

I bet everyone reading this strip has a happy puppy story. What a great way to end the day. Anyone want to share a happy story? I just had one of those happy puppy experiences in getting Ralph and Agnes. I think we are about to get another happy experience for and from Cleokaya!
