Thanks for asking about me yesterday.I ran out of time in the morning, so just put a quick “hello” in, with every intention of getting back here later. You can probably guess why I decided not to return yesterday. I just wasn’t in the mood to ignore it OR address it, if you know what I mean. Geeez….!

I’ve got some shopping to do this a.m. for my niece’s baby shower (I will be a great aunt in early Oct. for the first time! I’m not ready for “great aunthood”!!! I’m too young!), but I’ll be back throughout the day. (PS: It’s kinda nice that I was missed! Thanks!)

I so enjoyed the beach photos you posted last night…and I’m so envious! Looks like you found a great place to live for you and your mom. Glad she’s transitioning into the program fairly well. That will turn into a godsend for you, as you’re already starting to find out! (sigh of relief from the east coast….!) And, that photo of your boy on the beach — too cute! And you didn’t like my Pug/Cupcake photo the other night?????LOL

I never did Facebook, although Ernie had a page there. He recently deleted it when FB took it upon themselves to change his email address (along with everybody’s, so I understand).They’re very arrogant. They don’t seem to care what people want, yet so many stay. Can’t understand why. That being said, I did check out the CD page. There’s a lot of the funniest strips there, but it seemed awkward to navigate and if there were comments, I couldn’t find them. It was cool to think of a whole other group of people who enjoy CD as much as we do, though.

stel ol’ bell, you little sweetie, I can read today’s CD word balloons just fine, but your translation is wayy to small to read. a little larger please!oh, and the thing about the Philippines , the one thing I remember from world history in grade school was that Ferdinand Magellan was the first to circumvent the entire globe , but not quite. he was killed by the local inhabitants of the Philippines just short of his goal. But his ship and crew completed the journey.

Now there’s a frightful thought.

I guess we may in for it later, according to the weather forecasts, and radio. Never heard them announce before that they are putting on extra trucks and calling in more workers for the electric company to be on standby, or to tell us how to pack our freezers for optimum freezing, etc. in case the power goes out.

You are lucky noicant/YESICAN to have all that beauty in your backyard. I love the ocean!
