They were initially forecasting that storm was going to hit Florida. Now it appears to be headed toward Louisiana. Let’s hope it doesn’t head any further west.

Good morning kids, well as good as a Monday morning can be. You are right Cuddles, they are precious at that age..Thank you to x_Tech & StelBel for an excellent way to start a Monday. The Blues Brothers woke me up and how can you not be in a good mood with Louie and Ella. That kind of music is like chocolate to me. You can’t stop at one, I had to listen to ’Dream a Little Dream, Cheek to Cheek and Stormy Weather.

morning people and petshappy, happy, happy.im staying busy.im starting to do some prep stuff so i can paint the bathroom that needs the most work.its a mess. i striped all of the trim out and am trying to get bits of old wall paper off and fill holes and smooth the walls. sometime this week i am going to try to get a plumber out to give me an estimate on moving the drain for the sink so i can move it. its a pedestal sink and one side is against a wall, as well as the back. i want to move it about four inches away from that wall.

I’ve heard a lot of people sing Summertime (including me), but no one can sing it like Ella and Louis did. That was, by far, the best (in my opinion, of course).

I was just thinking of Mungo Jerry when I was reading your first paragraph. I have that single.

Here are a few other songs with summer in the title:Hot Fun In the Summertime, Summer In the City, Summer Of ’69, Boys Of Summer, Summertime Blues, Summer Breeze & Hot Summer Night.

Of course, other songs like Heatwave and almost everything released by the Beachboys would imply summer.
