    Well, here we are again!

It’s nice to have a place to post our comments for ….

the March 27th  2018 “CLEO and COMPANY”

…. after, of course, you read it on Sherpa:

    http://www.comicssherpa.com/site/feature?uc_comic=cscwy

    Come right in, BTW.

Don’t be afraid of Little Rodney.

I have a pretty strong feeling that, by the time we get here,

BIG Rodney will have convinced him that Gatekeepers are not a good choice, when it comes to deciding what not to respect.

And that little dogs do not have all the power they think they do….

no matter how much they’ve been over-indulged and fawned upon by a certain Mrs. Hargrove, up till now.

    Now, don’t get me wrong.

Mr. and Mrs. Hargrove, aka ""Big Rodney" and “Sweet Delilah”, as they call each other, get along very well…

I’m sure when she sees those pants, Delilah will admit to the error of her ways, and promise to change them.

Whether or not the under-table treats, pillow-sharing, and indulgent over-looking of bad behavior will continue,

    however, is impossible to predict….

I am tempted to guess, but, after all, it’s none of my business, as long as we commenters are safe.

Little Rodney appears intent on adjusting his insult:injury ratio.

Curious casting. Bassets are notoriously poor hitters, though of course everyone knows that Casey strikes out. They are much more celebrated for their fielding prowess. “Good field. No hit.” is pretty much a capsule summary of all the basset scouting reports.

Why do the humins always mess things up? They added the dude in green, and their pants all look like they have been attacked by Little Rodney Hargrove.

    Wow… this is an oldie!

    Nice job, you guys….

I see this one was a joint effort.

I’ve always loved Zazu Pitbull…. those tiny lips and huge eyes!

Especially in her early roles, like this.

Too bad she’s not on the poster… she probably wore a wonderful hat.

    I confess, I haven’t actually seen the movie yet…

    but I’m sure I will.

According to IBMdB (The Internet Basset Movie Data Base), all six of the famous Floppydora Pups play roles in it, too.

They’re so beautiful, with their earflapper costumes and curly fur.

And yes… why does it take three humans to do the job of two bassets on a poster?

I’m guessing that each human has only 2/3 the drawing power of a basset hound.

Rotifer … I’d say mostly because that’s Wally Beerbasset, and stink-eye is Wally Beerbasset’s default expression.

    Now you tell me….

Why are his pants apparently made of bacon?

What a fun poster this morning. Not only is it about a great BassetBall game, but all our commenters (or is that tormentors) have really gotten into the swing of things. But………..no one was made up with purplie eye shadow.
