Barry is taking a little fitness break before we all get there.

Being in the scaffolding business, he likes, as he put it, to constantly reach for new heights.

He kind of implied that he keeps a working model of a mountain right here in his private office…

something made out of steel, with adjustable levels.

I wonder whether we’ll get to see it.

 

I’m bringing us some fresh chocolate chip cookies, and some oatmeal raisin ones for those who prefer them….

Do you think I should bring a few energy bars for an athlete like Barry?

Meanwhile, in Cleveland, Cleo is really working that little black dress!

This is the glamorous Cleo Clifford we all know and love….

Dennis is right…. she does know how to work a little black dress.

I can’t help wondering whether a 2018 version would have had just a touch of glamorous glitter.

I have to say… glitter is a bit harder to do now, though, due to the failure of a favorite website.

And when it comes down to it, Cleo needs no help to be a glamour queen…

it’s in her bones.

At least, it’s in the Milk Bones they bribe her with, to keep still for all those hours in Make-up and Costume.

 

To say nothing of bribing her to hold a cat!

I confess, at first I wondered why she had a disembodied cat’s head in her hand…

But now I see that a whole cat is lying on her shoulders.

If this weren’t a movie, and the feline probably a famous cat actress,

at least in her own little furry corner of the world…

we all know there would be no way!.

 

Did you know there was a human attempt to copy this film?!

Hah! As if!

Look at the scrawny creature, pretending to ooze the charisma and… let’s face it…. sex appeal… of Cleo Clifford.

They even had to change the character’s name because she’s just not heavy enough to plod like a basset..

I’ll have to ditto all the high praise for our Cleo as Holly Goploddingly! What a terrific acting job she managed! And yes, she looks really great in that svelte black dress!
