    Hullo all….

Another Saturday…. and here we go with another puzzle!

Find it in the Dec 15th  2018 “CLEO and COMPANY”

    It’s on Sherpa, of course…..

    http://www.comicssherpa.com/site/feature?uc_comic=cscwy

Then come right back here to solve it and discuss it.

Feel free to use my side-by-side version:

From Clara’s expression, I’d say it’s NOT Christmas morning yet….

and Cleo is sneaking a little look-see.

Not sure how she ended up getting any presents at all, what with all those watching eyes, and Santa’s little snitches.

Careful, Cleo…. you’re definitely on thin ice.

Then again… who has ever been as indulgent as Clara and Claude?

Meanwhile, the Burley brothers…. Ned, the fearless elder, and the somewhat reticent Ted, two years his junior….

    are on Christmas patrol.

Unfortunately…. well, maybe it’s fortunately, for the neighborhood….

Their sidearms are the same Roy Rogers cap pistols they got for Christmas, in 1952.

C’mon over to my bakery…. we can solve the puzzle over cinnamon rolls and coffee…

far out of the range of any stray… um… caps.

I would have figured the Burley Brothers for stockings and high heels. But I guess pajamas and boots, with spurs, will have to do. Let’s hope Susan is right about their weapons.

I will reserve the puzzle for après cafe tomorrow.

Before I have any second thoughts I better post the solution to today’s Cleo & Co. puzzle.

And remember no peeking or Susan will send the Burley brothers after you.

More thought should have been put into the first thought.

That was fun. I got 8 right away, and this is my “early” Saturday where the cleaning lady comes, so I had to check out X’s solution. Boy, the one I missed was so obvious! I was counting the wood slats, measuring the door way, but this one was glaring at me! Gave me a good chuckle to start my day.

I found 8 pretty quickly but that 9th on took a little time – probably the same one as MontanaLady. Good job, nighthawks!

Nine differences is one thing (actually nine things), but how can you resist those puppy dog eyes?
