Also known as a Moto-Tool. Do not try a Dremel on a cat.

I use a Dremel on my dog. I already had it, so cheaper than the Pedi-paws and it does work.

Before using a Dremel-brand or any other motor tool, first be stronger than your dog. Second, be faster than your dog. Third, be sneakier than your dog. Fourth, use an abrasive disc to do the cutting/filing. Be VERY careful, to always wear eye protection, as these discs can explode. Fragments can permanently damage eyes, and won’t do complexion any good. Start at a relatively slow rotation. This is quieter, and less dangerous. Oh, and fifth, a trained first aid assistant standng by with bandages isn’t that bad an idea. – DryGrub Willie

It won’t be a hit at the box office either.

It would probably be easier to take Toby to the vet.

Maybe Toby can learn to bite his nails.

    I’m here, I’m here!

Sorry about last night, everybody… it wasn’t my computer or my ISP…. though thanks for thinking that.

    No, this time…. it was… sigh…. me.

I’d been working on something, and I fell asleep at the turn… and just couldn’t wake up enough to post anything coherent.

Considering my usual posts, I couldn’t risk any less coherency.

    And no…. I wasn’t in jail….. well…. not for very long, anyway.

It was all a misunderstanding…. hah hah…. uh… you know.

Anyway…. we’re here to post our comments on

an ever-so- seasonally appropriate poster, signed by both StelBel and Nighthawks…

in the Mar 28th  2019 “CLEO and COMPANY”

    See it on Sherpa

    Wow… this is an oldie!

    Nice job, you guys….

I’ve always loved Zazu Pitbull…. those tiny lips and huge eyes!

Especially in her early roles, like this.

Too bad she’s not on the poster… she probably wore a wonderful hat.

According to IBMdB (The Internet Basset Movie Data Base), all six of the famous Floppydora Pups play roles in it, too.

They’re so beautiful, with their ear-flapper costumes and curly fur.

I did find a copycat version made by humans….

    https://i.postimg.cc/fRqCMCBc/Casey-at-the-Bat.jpg

Tell me, though…. first…. _what happened to their legs??

    I hope there wasn’t a tragic accident!

And second … why does it take three humans to do the job of two bassets on a poster?

I’m guessing that each human has only 2/3 the box office drawing power of a basset hound.

When we meet at Ted and Lois’ today….

They’ll probably have us watch Toby bicycling, like any proud parents.

Be sure to tell them how cute he is, OK?

Why is Red Hat Baseball Basset giving Black Hat Baseball Basset the stink eye?

No hiding behind the couch for this movie! WooHoo! And, both of our artists are responsible for this one. Love the costumes!

The only problem with making this movie was convincing them not to run with the bat in their mouth after they got a hit.

So glad baseball started. I got tired of hearing about how many weeks, days, hours, minutes until baseball. Last thing he said before hibernating was “13 minutes until baseball starts”. Love this poster, though!
