That must be the ‘footpath not travelled’ I’ve looked down once or twice.

Careful Daryl, you’ve dropped a ball there, mate.

Cellardoor, a quick history as I know it.

Back when Ballard Street was new every day, and C&C had its own comment section, most of us were on both sites. But the Tiki Bar, Stel’s costume annex, Susan’s bakery, Rose’s varied operations, my own fabric emporium, and other businesses were all on Ballard Street. Stel and Susan were Ballard Street tamperers, and we had many fine parties and hijinks that went well into the night. I think we called ourselves Ballardians.

Alas, GC made it more difficult to post our creations. That was the first blow. Then, Sherpa comics no longer had comments. So we started posting on BS ten years ago, with JVA’s approval. This had the benefit of seeing an extra BS strip every day. Then, Jerry stopped posting new Ballard Street strips, and after a month of posting reruns, GC blew it and it is now frozen.

Meanwhile, StelBel became a creator joining Nighthawks in Cleo and Company productions, tampering with movie posters.

Anybody want to add to this history? Some of you go back further than I.

I’d still like to know who put the kibbles up there. Must have been the evil cat.

    Welcome Cleo pals…

We’re commenting on the August 23rd  2019 “CLEO and COMPANY”

Which both Tigressy and Dennis linked to, above, on Sherpa… that should do it.

This has always been one of my favorite Cleo animations…

I know there are others that are longer, more complicated, more ambitious….

but I love Sir Isaac, with his head lost in the clouds of scientific inquiry, and his more practical puppy pal, who doesn’t quite grasp… well you know… the gravity of the situation.

OH!! Was it his discovery on this very day that many a 1960’s dog’s favorite kibble was named?

I mean, of course, “Gravity Train”.

Just add water and it makes its own gravity!

I didn’t have a dog so I may be remembering wrong.

Does anybody know what’s happened to Jless?

I don’t have his email address, so I wondered whether anyone else has contact with him, or maybe read a message on another forum, saying he was going somewhere.

I started getting a bit worried a couple of days ago, when I realised I hadn’t seen his “likes” anywhere.

Right now his profile shows no comments on any strips in the last 19 days…. and none of what’s there mentions an upcoming absence.

He’s a young fellow… so he’s probably just off on vacation or some project or something, not realising that we older types worry.

    But 19 days is a long time….

I do hope he’s OK… along with all of our Cleo family.

I have to admit that my posting, and probably my brain, have been pretty scattered and intermittent for the last two months…. (gosh, has it really been two months? It feels like forever, and yesterday, at the same time.)

It took me longer than usual to notice that something was amiss, because I’m not always here.

Take that any way you like.

How come Sir Issac Basset is fully clothed and his “little buddy” is naked?

Sure. That’s why he looks trampled under foot.

Kibble doesn’t belong in a tree. Apples do.

Quick update. Most pretransplant appointments are done. (for now?) Still got 6 next month. Got another med yesterday. (makes 6) That’s about the only PITA right now.

On the plus side, I finally got cleared to go back to PT and exercising! Yay! So tired of sitting around.
