With that tag he’s less likely to get shot by a hunter which is a good thing. Still, he’s gonna get teased about wearing an earring from his fellow bucks.. deer are not into piercings and the LGBQ+ designations, yet.
State and Federal biologists do the tagging to assess herd size and health.
If I consider it as an earring, it is an earring.
